Reed drives change in CS at the University of Illinois in Chicago

Congratulations to Dale Reed, Ph.D., a Cultural Competence in Computing (3C) Fellow at the Computer Science Department at the University of Illinois in Chicago. Dr. Reed was granted support from Break Through Tech (BTT) and as a result of the funding and initiatives that arose from BTT in Chicago, the number of female and non-binary undergraduates in the Computer Science department has increased from 19% to 26% in the past three years. Dr. Reed is a Clinical Professor of Computer Science at the University of Illinois at Chicago, College of Engineering - Computer Science, in Chicago, Illinois.
