Sababu Chaka Barashango, Lien Diaz, and Terry Foster develop and present Computing Equity Project

Sababu Chaka Barashango and Terry Foster, Cultural Competence in Computing (3C) Fellows, and Lien Diaz, AiiCE Senior Personnel and Cultural Competence in Computing (3C) Fellow, developed the Computing Equity Project: Justice And Equity For Marginalized Students. The "objective of the Computing Equity Project is to build a structural solution to the deployment of computer science (CS) education." The project was presented at the Tapia 2022 Conference and "aims to inform the structural reformation required for justice and equity in computing education for these students."
Sababu Chaka Barashango is a Constellations Fellow at the Constellations Center for Equity in Computing at Georgia Tech and a third-degree black belt in karate. Lien Diaz is the Director of the Constellations Center for Equity in Computing at Georgia Tech and co-authored Setting the Table for Equity: A Leadership Model for Broadening Participation in Computing. Terry Foster, a Constellations Fellow for Georgia Tech, was a part of the final cohort of Georgia Tech’s Operation Reboot, an NSF-funded project. The Constellations Center for Equity in Computing at Georgia Tech is a "center focused on increasing equity in computing."
