Minerva Matos-Garner

Minerva Matos-Garner is a Communications Strategist with the Alliance for Identity-Inclusive Computing Education (AiiCE) and brings to the role over two decades of experience in intercultural communications, DEIB, and second language acquisition. Before joining AiiCE, Minerva worked as a Communications Consultant in Graduate Communications and Intercultural Programs in the Pratt School of Engineering at Duke University. Minerva is a Duke University 2022-2023 Teaching for Equity Fellow and continually seeks opportunities to expand her commitment to improving intercultural communications and developing equitable learning environments within higher education. Minerva earned a Master of Arts in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages from the University of Maryland-Baltimore County, where she focused on instructional systems design.
